The new Neutra collection, including a sofa and two armchairs in classic Roman travertine designed by Mario Bellini and the "sculptural" bathtub designed by the brothers Oliver and Daniel Piva, represents a new generation of marble furnishings characterized by a sophisticated search for shapes and materials.
Neutra is a company specialized in the art of working marble, granite, onyx, stone and quartz. A history of continuous innovation in the name of an ancient tradition, which expresses an essential and rigorous style, with a philosophy of work typical of Renaissance workshops.
LA GRANDE MURAGLIA (The Great Wall) 2023 was born from the desire to create a majestic seat, with the strength of the great architectural works that defy time. The idea took shape in 1981 from the collaboration between Mario Bellini and Piero Ambrogio Busnelli. Today, in the NEUTRA atelier, Emanuele Chicco Busnelli brings the project of LA GRANDE MURAGLIA 2023 to full completion thanks to skilled hands that have interpreted its vocation as domestic architecture. The collection consists of a sofa (two or three seaters) and an armchair, characterized by a classic Roman travertine structure (also available in other marble variants) that houses the enveloping padding of seats, armrests and backrests. The uprights and the frame are identified with the pillars and the architrave of an imaginary monumental building, in dialectical contrast with the soft and enveloping elements of the seat that welcome the body as in an embrace. The highly architectural connotation of the seating elements does not affect comfort and flexibility in use in any way. Bellini reinterprets the sculptural forms of The Great Wall, drawing today real ways of living the seats in a contemporary perspective, thinking of reading, rest, meditation. The seats of La Grande Muraglia 2023 are sculptural furnishings to be handed down from father to son and "impose themselves with authority, not with authority", according to the words of Bellini himself.

THEIA Collection, design by STUDIOPIVA – Tables, coffee tables and stools
The circular shape of the top is the element shared by all the models of the Theia series: tables, coffee tables and stools, which evoke in the name the homonymous planet that 4 billion years ago collided with the Earth (the so-called 'giant impact'), producing the formation of our only satellite, the Moon. This galactic and original event is evoked by the essential, almost lunar forms of the floors of Theia furnishings. All the elements of the collection are characterized by a cast bronze structure consisting of a ring top from which the three legs extend (four in the dining table version with 180 cm diam); The structure, artfully shaped, adheres, almost in symbiosis, the marble inserts of the legs and the top – in marble in the case of tables and coffee tables, covered in nubuck leather for the stools, available in other variants of leather or fabric. The bronze structural element is the common matrix from which further furnishing elements will be developed that, like a small galaxy, will complete the collection.
