"This book-case is a tribute to my Parisian grandfather," says designer Fabrice Berrux. "In his apartment, one room fascinated me more than any other. It was the one he occupied in the evening until late at night: his study, or rather his chamber of wonders, his cabinet of curiosity. A place for reflection, creation and memories, where books, paintings, masks, sculptures and a thousand other 'indispensable' objects were mixed. Fifteen years later, these memories become a library conceived as a modular architecture.
Cabinet de Curiosité consists of different modules that can be freely combined to obtain the desired configuration. Each module consists of a facade and a variable number of windows and niches designed to accommodate, organize and bring out books, memories and objects of all kinds.
